Step by step guide that shows you how to create contact group for android on computer with PC Tool for VeryAndroid Contacts Backup (Even without using gmail).
- Step 1: Transfer Android contacts to PC Tool for VeryAndroid Contacts Backup.
Please transfer the contacts from android to PC Tool for VeryAndroid Contacts Backup first. You can refer to this tutorial how to backup android contacts to computer. (skip if done)

- Step 2: Select certain contacts for group.
Select your wanted contacts on PC Tool for VeryAndroid Contacts Backup, right click them and then choose "Set group".
- Step 3: Input the group name.
Set a name for the group and then click "OK" .
- Step 4: Create Successfully.
All your selected contacts are in the same group you have just created.
- Step 5: Sync contacts to Android..
Now you can sync the contacts with group info back to your android phone. Please refer to how to sync contacts to android
