Free download and install VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on your Android phone
Note: The best way is to go to the Market (google paly) on Android phone to search "VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup" and click to download and install.
Run VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on your Phone and you will see this screen:

Click the "Backup SMS & MMS" button and select backup file type(txt or csv). You can also enter your wanted custom file name. Then click "OK" button to continue.

SMS are being backed up now.

Done. All your SMS & MMS messages on Android phone have been backed up and saved as a text file. The file will be in this folder on your SD Card: sdcard/veryandroid/MMSBackup/ .

Now you can copy the SMS/MMS backup file from your SD Card: sdcard/veryandroid/MMSBackup/ to your computer for any further use.
