How to connect Android to PC for SMS/MMS backup?

To manage your android phone SMS and MMS on PC direclty with PC Tool, you need to connect your android phone to computer first. You can connect it via USB/WIFI. Here is the step by step guides:

1. Connect via USB

• Step 1: Check these on your phone settings. (skip if done)
  1. Settings -> Application settings -> Unknow sources.
  2. Settings -> Application settings -> Development -> USB debugging.
  
   
• Step 2: Install and run VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on your Phone
  Go to the Market (Google Play) on your android to search, download and install VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup. Then click "" icon to run VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on your phone and you will see this screen:
  
  
• Step 3: Start PC Sync Service
  Click the "PC Sync" button. Then input a port info or wifi address and then click "Start" button.
  
  
• Step 4: Run PC Tool for VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on computer..
  Install PC Tool for VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup and run it. Then click "Menu" -> "Connection". Now you can check the connecting method (USB). Click "Connect" button to finish.
  

  

• Done.
  Now you can backup, restore or send messages direclty on PC with PC Tool for VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup.

2. Connect via WIFI

• Step 1: Connect Android phone to Wi-Fi network. (skip if done)
  Connect your Android phone to the Wi-Fi network. Please make sure your Android phone and Windows PC have been connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  
  
• Step 2: Install and run VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on your Phone
  Go to the Market (Google Play) on your Android to search, download and install VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup. Then click "" icon to run VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on your phone and you will see this screen:
  
  
• Step 4: Start PC Sync Service
  Click the "PC Sync" button. Click "Start" button and you will see your ip address there.
  
  
• Step 5: Run PC Tool for VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup..
  Install and run PC Tool for VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup on computer then click "Menu" -> "Connection". Choose the connecting method as WIFIi and then input the ip addrees accroding to the PC Sync Service on your phone. Click "Connect" button to finish.
  

  

• Done.
  Now you can backup, restore or send messages direclty on computer with PC Tool for VeryAndroid SMS & MMS Backup.
